On the occasion of the soft inauguration of Denso Hall Rahguzar, Heritage Foundation of Pakistan (HF) extended its invitation to Mr. Justice Gulzar Ahmed, Chief Justice of Pakistan. It has been a great honor for HF to announce that the Chief Justice of Pakistan agreed to be the guest of honor for the event. Mr. Justice Gulzar Ahmed also expressed interest and great support towards the project and the principles that it advocates for.
However, due to the ban on public gatherings imposed by Sindh Government in an effort to curb the rise in COVID-19 infections, the event which was to be held on the 3rd of April has now been postponed until further notice.

On March 30th, 2021, Space 10 organized a book launch event via zoom to market the worldwide release of their book, ‘The Ideal City’. Space 10 representatives Jana Perkovic and Virginia Lui engaged in conversation with Alfredo Brillembourg, founder of Urban-Think Tank, and architect Yasmeen Lari, about the core principles for designing better cities for more people.
Yasmeen Lari’s barefoot social architecture methodologies and views on urban planning have been discussed within the Space 10 publication. ‘The Ideal City’ gathers real urban projects from around the world that support the well-being of both people and the planet — some as big as a city-wide master plan, others as small as an app on your phone.

On March 26th, 2021, Heritage Foundation of Pakistan organized a digital exhibition of photographs that were taken by the youth along with line drawings on the completion of the ‘Youth in Heritage’ project, which was carried in collaboration with the British Council of Pakistan and the Government of Sindh.
The project was designed to involve the youth living near Makli Necropolis to allow the youth to develop a greater attachment to their Pakistani heritage through their involvement in photographic documentation of the patterns of Tomb of Mirza Jan Baba.
The event bought together around 40 women and youth of the Makli community, to celebrate the involvement of the 6 youth in the documentation process. The event started with an introduction of the 6-youth involved, followed by a presentation discussing the historical significance of Makli and the tomb of Mirza Jan Baba. The event showcased the photographs taken by youth and the respective drawings produced by HF. On the occasion, each of the 6 youths was interviewed about their experience. Everyone showed a great deal of enthusiasm for such projects to take place in the future and also shared the history of the Tomb that they learned through the process.
Drinks and refreshments were served to the attendees at the end of the event.
