Donal Hill, the author of Gospel Poems is a good ol’ country boy, born in Anson, Texas, on the 23rd day of June 1935, to the proud parents of Frank and Annie Hill. Donal had eight other brothers and sisters. Unfortunately, one passed away a few months after birth.
